The fine folks at Gizmodo shared with us this fantastic map of the universe. Never get lost again!
If only Bugs Bunny had this he wouldn’t have kept making that wrong turn at Albuquerque.
GeekDad over @Wired teaches us How To Build a Nerf-Dart Blowgun. That’s our kind of #geekery !
Damon Lindelof + Superman = Awesome!!! -
When the brains behind LOST takes on Superman as his next big project, we get a little woozy.
Seriously, I first signed up for Twitter to read Damon’s tweets. This is gonna kick ass!
The Greatest Game Teaser Ever -
To say I’m excited about Skyrim is a ridiculous understatement. This game is going to be EPIC, and not in the overused way, but in the proper “bigger than all of us” way.
Is it too soon to start the Game of the Decade talk?
Watch the video and drool away.
Coming soon: Bad yearbook photos that move, a la Harry Potter.
I am so proud that my 4 year old daughter keeps asking me to take her to see the Green Lantern and Thor movies. The fact she comes to the comic book shop with me every week makes me very hopeful for the next generation of geeks.
Here are a few still promo photos from the gents at SpoilerTv.com. If you haven’t seen that episode yet, you need to. I think they writers about to kick it into high gear.

I must say, I am a little excited about this new starter set.
Being a huge fan of the Blackest Night arc It only seems logical I would be drawn to the next natural progression in the Green Lantern Heroclix line. The Blackest Night starter set featured the Lantern deputies and unfortunately didn’t have any of the great Black Lantern characters. Most of the Black Lantern characters I have come across, Kal-L, Martian Manhunter & Necron were featured in the Bold and Brave set which recently ended, if I’m not mistaken.
The Brightest Day set centers around seven of the twelve “resurrected” heroes/villains. It appears the characters in this set will be the following; Captain Boomerang, Aquaman, Deadman, Osiris, HawkGirl, Firestorm and Martian Manhunter (who btw, has a sweet sculpt. Part Black Lantern part normal).
Either due to the information not being out yet, me bring lazy or my being 4 glasses of wine deep right now; I have not found the stats available on the dials of these characters. I’ve come across too many release dates to even speculate right now so check with your local hobby-comic shop. I can only assume the release date is lightly shrouded due to the DC 75th Anniversary series coming out shortly (more on that later).
You know what I don’t get? Platypuses…or is it platapi or perhaps platypay?
What the hell is up with this animal? It really is the most bizarre freaking thing I have ever seen. Have you ever assembled something? Anything at all..a desk, a playschool playhouse, a swing-set a 20 story tall industrial crane..you ALWAYS have pieces left over. Its an inevitable occurrence, heck I’m still trying to find a home for the 2 bolts left over from my recent brake job.

That is what a platypus is. It is the left over pieces of about 4 other species of animal, pieces apparently no one thought they would need (I know of one duck in a nearby pond that would beg to differ..if he could talk). This creepy abomination of beaver-dom serves no purpose that I can think of, except providing a unique super-spy character in Phineas & Pherb. I really would like someone to explain the point of this furry billed oddity.
